1. When it's quiet,
the cats are either asleep or up to no good.

Probably because it's true, I haven't blogged in what seems like a month.
3. My heart is
working as it should.

I don't have many family or friends with birthdays in July

5. In the town where I was born
lived a man who sailed the seas. And he told us of his life in the land of submarines.

The ability to make me laugh when I don't think I can is something I really love about my significant other / friend.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to
catching up with my podcasts, tomorrow my plans include
organizing the office and Sunday, I want to
enjoy the shish kebab that the AED plans to BBQ!

may be 10 years old, but it still feels new to me.

The weather has been so strange recently that it's hard to tell what is coming up next.

to pile up around me faster than I can get rid of them.

defeats the whole purpose of having a hiding place.

to people having basic manners and treating one another with respect?

I can't believe it when people tell me that conquering Mount Laundry is not impossible!

playing games online with my sister, tomorrow my plans include
an attempt to scale Mount Laundry and Sunday, I want to
enjoy the Eid celebrations with my family!

1. He was a
rather strange fellow, but I liked him anyway.

Winter is what I look forward to most this time of year.
3. My best friend
is an Amazing Egyptian Dude.

I am not very comfortable at the moment to be honest with you.
5. Appearances can be
disgusting, especially when you've got a drain with blood in it hanging around your neck.
6. The last person I gave a hug to was
the Amazing Egyptian Dude to thank him for going to the market to get me some Diet Dr. Pepper even though he is completely exhausted.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to
doing as little as possible, tomorrow my plans include
absolutely nothing and Sunday, I want to
do even less than on Friday and Saturday!

eases California's drought and prevents us from having to go on water rationing.4.
Because it's only 2:15 a.m. at the moment, Maggie the cat was the first person I talked to today.
5. Hugs are
ok once in a while, but they really are not my thing; I'm not a touchy-feely kind of person.

All my life I slept with a single pillow; however, after having brain surgery three years ago, I need a nest of them to provide my head and neck with
extra comfort.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to
reviving an old game of Pharaoh so that I can continue building ancient Egypt, tomorrow my plans include
cleaning out the Amazing Egyptian Dude's side of the closet and getting rid of a bunch of old clothes that he no longer wears and Sunday, I want to
finally conquer the laundry mountain!
